Nick Plante is a Research Associate at Whistle Stop Capital. He brings his experience in research and tech startups along with a passion for storytelling.
He received his Bachelor's from the University of Pennsylvania (Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa), where he majored in Psychology and English. His thesis project was an experiment testing behavioral interventions to change unwanted social media habits. His other research ranges from projects for the Walt Whitman Archive to Penn's Center for Neuroscience and Society and a language acquisition lab.
Nick joined Whistle Stop after launching and managing several startups, in pursuit of more humane technology - products and communities that help us live more ethically and flourish together. In his free time, he writes nonfiction and poetry, runs marathons, and adventures with friends.
