Jaylen Spann is a Lead Research Associate at Whistle Stop Capital. Her primary responsibilities are to support sustainability data collection and analysis as well as business development and firm growth. She works to provide clients with the up-to-date, accurate, and informative information relative to their portfolios and their intersection with environmental and social issues. Jaylen’s passion for sustainability and transparency coincides with Whistle Stop’s mission to develop strategies intended to increase long-term value.
Jaylen is a graduate of San Francisco State University, earning her B.S. in International Business. Prior to earning her B.S., Jaylen also obtained her Associate’s Degree In Business Administration from Irvine Valley College as well as certifications in: Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Payroll/Taxation.
Jaylen previously worked in the mental health and public welfare field as a Therapeutic Care Specialist at the nonprofit Edgewood Center for Children and Families. At Edgewood, she collaborated closely with her team to develop group activities that help youth to deal with concepts such as: coping skills, teamwork, social skills, and aggression management.
